Friends of the Thomas Balch Library, Inc. was organized in 1995 as a 501(c)3 corporation. The membership stretches from coast to coast, due to the unique nature of the Library's collections and the faithful support of genealogists and history lovers everywhere. The board members and committee members of the Friends are active participants in collecting and preserving information from Loudoun County as well as surrounding areas.
